Twitter Adds New Camera Mode Which Looks Like Instagrams Story Camera
Twitter is working on a new updated version of their in-app camera, something that should be very familiar for those of us who post to Instagram or Snapchat stories.
To access the new camera feature swipe left from the main timeline, and you get access to the camera. You'll notice it looks very similar to other apps with a "Story" based capture system. Just take a photo and add a caption and you're done. Twitter will even try to help you out by allowing you to add a location, and recommend hashtags for events happening nearby which you may be attending.
Currently, Twitter doesn't allow you to upload your photos or videos into the app through this screen, saying they want to focus on users capturing what's happening now.
Twitter is currently testing out this new camera feature with a select few users but plans to roll it out to all users soon.
