Elon Musk has announced this morning on Twitter that an update will soon be pushed out to Tesla vehicles which includes the much-anticipated Sentry & Dog modes.
Sentry Mode (and Dog Mode) roll out next week— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 7, 2019
The Sentry mode will allow the parked car to record a 360-degree view around the vehicle to capture anyone possibly tampering with it. If the vehicle detects someone attempting to tamper or break in it will begin playing Toccata and Fugue by Bach as a type of deterrent.

Along with the sentry mode, a new dog mode will be added allowing Tesla owners to leave their pets in the vehicle, while the vehicle maintains a safe temperature and airflow inside for the comfort of their pets.
