SpaceX Crew Dragon successfully launches on its way to the ISS

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket with the first Crew Dragon capsule succcessfullly launched at 2:49am EST Saturday Morning and is on its way to dock with the ISS on Sunday morning.
The first significant test of a commercial crew spacecraft will happen this Saturday as the SpaceX Crew Dragon blasts off from Cape Canaveral Florida on its way to the International Space Station.
The launch will take place on Saturday, March 2nd at 2:49 am Eastern Time. It's an early morning launch to meet up with the ISS as it passes overhead.
The test launch called Demonstration-1 or DM-1 will be used by NASA to test if the spacecraft is ready to carry astronauts to the ISS in the future.
Boing is also building a commercial crew vessel called the Starliner which will have its test flight in April.
