iOS 13 Developer Beta 3 Released

Following the trend, Apple today released iOS 13 Beta 3 to developers. There are a few smaller changes but nothing too significant.

Possibly one of the most exciting new features is called "FaceTime Attention Correction" which allows you to look at the screen of your phone during a FaceTime call and have the phone correct your eyesight slightly to make it look like your looking directly at the front-facing camera. It's a rather strange new feature but a fascinating one, hopefully, Apple will talk about this more in the fall.

Here is a list of other changes:

  • New Apple Arcade Splash Screen with three distinct sections.
  • It's now easier to tell which split-screen window your typing in.
  • New "FaceTime Attention Correction" setting for iPhone XS, XS Max
  • New animation for launching tvOS applications.
  • New Noise Cancellation option in Control Center under the volume control for supported headphones
