Google Updates Apps To Support iPad Pro

Google has pushed out a new update for their G Suite of apps along with Youtube which supports the new iPad Pro's.

The updates pushed out earlier this week remove the black borders around the edges of the Gmail, Docs, Sheets & Slides applications allowing them to fully take advantage of the new iPad Pro screen size and accommodate the new home bar at the bottom of the display.

Along with the updates for the G Suite of apps, Google also addressed an issue with their Youtube app which saw the bottom navigation buttons displayed under the home bar.

Google is notoriously slow at updating their iOS apps to support new features, so I applaud the company for pushing out these updates only four months after the initial announcement by Apple of the new products. Let's hope Google can keep up this momentum for new iOS app updates in the future.
