Gboard on iOS Adds Translation Feature
Google has pushed out a new update for their Gboard keyboard on iOS which now adds the ability to translate text to and from over 100 languages right on the keyboard.
This new Google translate feature is built right into the keyboard and can be accessed using the buttons at the top of the keyboard, or if you have started typing its located under the "G" logo.
It's a small update but another added feature to the keyboard which makes it even better. I've personally been using Gboard as my primary iPhone keyboard for over a year now, and I love it. I find the predictive text far better than what Apple provides. The swipe input is excellent when using the phone one-handed, swipe your thumb around the keyboard to type out a message. Another great feature I use often is the Emoji search, its convenient to type in a word related to the emoji your looking for and have it pop up.
Gboard is available as a free download from the App Store if you're interested in trying it out for yourself.
