Apple Pencil Key Fob Interference
Have you ever been holding your iPad Pro and attempting to unlock your car with a key fob only to have the fob not work? Well according to Apple it might be the Apple Pencils fault.
Apple has released a new statement that if your Apple Pencil is charging on your iPad Pro, it may cause interference with your car key fob.
If you’re charging your Apple Pencil (2nd generation) with your iPad Pro and your car’s keyless entry device (key fob) is nearby, signal interference might prevent you from unlocking your vehicle with your key fob. If this happens, you can move your iPad Pro away from the key fob or remove your Apple Pencil from your iPad Pro and store it separately. When Apple Pencil is finished charging, any resulting signal interference will cease.
As for a way to fix it, well it's rather simple, remove the Apple Pencil from the side of the iPad. This will stop the charging, and thus should prevent the interference with your key fob.
